What About Your AT&T DSL Settlement?

You may not have heard but a proposed settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against AT&T over the claim that it has provided less than stellar DSL service to its customers. We recently received a small flier in the mail notifying us that we may be entitled to a one-time payment of $2.00. A whole two dollars.

Needless to say, we’re really excited here in the 3PRIME office and you can see all of the ways we’ve come up with to spend the money here: AT&T DSL Settlement. You can also read the detailed account of our reaction to the settlement: 3PRIME Receives Landmark Class Action Settlement against AT&T

AT&T is a communications giant and chances are a lot of you guys have used their services as well. So, what would you do with two bucks burning a hole in your pocket? Leave us some suggestions in the comments below.

CPU Fan failure and replacement

To be fair, my previous cpu fan didn’t actually fail, the assembly attaching it to the heatsink fell apart, toothlessly refusing to remain in place despite several stern warnings.

Web Design Statistics

Where can I find statistics on why Web Design and User Experience matters?
- Jed H. 31 / M / Portland, OR

I like this article:

How does user experience affect your company?

Bottom line though is that you already know that useful and pleasing presentation makes 100% of the difference between whether a website visitors stays or goes, whether they call or click, or whether they back out.

Thats true. But good stats to back that up would go a long way in selling design services :) This is the best site I have seen so far. Thanks

After a slow beginning of 2010, 3PRIME has signed up 4 new web design clients in the past 10 business days. It’s not the statistics that did it, business owners know what they need. Once they find a reliable, clear-spoken advocate for their business that ALSO helps them transform their vision into a website, they’ll move on it.

Great job 3PRIME team!

Have you seen one of these in your town?

Do you do things a bit differently?

If you think out of the box then you’re not alone. Recently we came across a story about flat hot dogs in The Star. It highlighted how off beat and original ideas can really turn into prosperous decisions. You compete with thousands of other businesses and the only way to win is by taking your own angle on a common offering. Differentiating yourself from your competition pays dividends. By doing this you create buzz for your business and you give people stories to tell.

There’s a similar article in the New Haven Independent about the Caseus Cheese Truck–which uses Twitter to relay its location every day and in doing so has garnered a loyal following. This shows that you’re bound to see increased profits whenever you’re able to get people excited about and involved with your brand. So if you do things a bit differently just think about the burger shaped hot dog and say “why not?”

Michael Todd Cosmetics on The Doctors

Hey everyone, we just wanted to announce that Michael Todd Cosmetics has been featured on the CBS program The Doctors. Their Knu Anti-Aging Tri-Complex was featured and tested on air. It’s a specialized cosmetic which is partially made up of snail secretion—which turns out to be great for your skin. But don’t take my word for it you can watch The Doctors segment on Knu as well as visit the Michael Todd Cosmetics site for more information.

3PRIME is proud to work with Michael Todd Cosmetics and we’re eager to see what new ways they come up with to keep us young.
